HOW TO MASTER A LANGUAGE IF YOU HAVE NO TIME
The answer is very simple - you must love learning the languauge you've chosen, so that you can easily get to grips with complicated rules or diphtongs. Basically there are several ways to enrich your vocabulary and brush up your grammar, but you must spend at least 30 minutes a day doing the things I'm going to mention.
If you are fond of reading and memes Reddit would suit you perfectly. Reddit is a social-networking site, which works like an enormous board for all the users, so they can post anything they like. I consider this app to be very helpful and entertaining as you may follow official channels, where you will definitely pick up a few words. Moreover, you have an opportunity to interact with other users and with the authors of posts.
So, if you are sick and tired of reading posts or books, you might like listening to podcasts, because the mechanism is almost the same as in TV, you may be working or doing your homework amid the sounds of foreigners speaking their native language, and in a few days you will see some kind of a progress for sure as your brain will memorize some phrazes or dialogues which you might find enchanting later.
Last, but not least - games. To my mind, this is the most beautiful way of learning something new, because after playing "Life Is Strange" one wouldn't feel such fatigue as if they had been learning English grammar for 3 hours. By playing a game the user is going to remember not only the correct transcription of the words, but the exact context and structure in which the words could be used.
To sum up, there are lots of ways to master a language if you have little time, but all you need is a bit of effort and dedication, so you will attain the level of language you want.
I am in two minds about this..... It’s a good idea to learn language through entertainment and it actually motivates one to study when learning is not only useful, but also fun
ReplyDeleteHowever, games, reddit etc. are not the best ways to learn grammar and many other aspects of language 😔
I am also in two minds about this. I think any language needs to be absorbed in order to really feel it. Especially because when we learn something separately and not as a whole, we are not learning the language, we are just getting acquainted with its details or peculiarities.
ReplyDeleteI’m in two minds about this. Because learning languages can be quite challenging and when you have little time you don’t really have motivation to do anything else. But I agree up to a point that there’re benefits of learning languages by playing games and also using apps on your phone.
ReplyDeleteI agree up to your point. These days, the really best way to learn a language and get into the language atmosphere is to surround yourself with different media. In the modern world, this is more of an advantage than a disadvantage, because not everyone has the desire to sit and cram new words that can be easily picked up during games or watching memes.
